Recovering your Abdominal Functioning

We have some exciting news! Dr. Kristin is always looking for newer and better ways to help her pre and post-partum Mommas. A few months ago, she attended an amazing class focused on helping Moms recover their abdominal functioning through retraining the core. The core, consisting of your diaphragm that helps you breath, the muscles of the back and abdomen, as well as the muscles of the pelvic floor is incredibly important during and after pregnancy. It’s also in need of some serious TLC one your baby is born. The class, given by Dr. Ashley Elmer, DC, CACCP, CPD introduced Dr. Kristin to a special app called the Connected & Inspired Media App. It’s a perfect solution that, when combined with regular Chiropractic care, can help with common problems related to pregnancy, healing after pregnancy, and growing our children’s healthy nervous systems.

Dr. Kristin’s patients can reap the rewards of the app by downloading it from her website or by scanning the QR code while in the office. Dr. Kristin will assign the proper breathing, brain, or pre/post-partum exercises or stretches for you. The app is also a hub for scheduling your appointments, connecting with providers that work with Dr. Kristin, and learning about what Chiropractic is and how it can help you and your family. It also contains a wealth of exercises for our littles to make sure their core is working optimally and as connected to their brains as possible.
